Quarantine horses

This handsome boy was ran through a Colorado auction and purchased by a kill buyer. We purchased him from the kb lot to make sure he is forever safe.

Sadly he was separated from two friends and left behind, probably due to an injury on his right hind foot.

This poor soul found himself in a Minnesota kill pen ready to die. With a body score of 1+ out of 9, we weren't sure he was going to make the long trip, but he did! He is a sweet old soul with a will to live and we can only hope and pray he will get to stay with us and get fat with us for a LONG TIME!

Used, starved, and dumped at auction, we spotted Anna in the auction pen looking defeated and we promised her we would not leave without her - and we didn't! She is severely underweight with a body score of 2/9 and some kidney issues, but we hope we can nurture her back to health!

Rett was in the MN kill pen together with Chance, and had given up on life until 1H@AT came along band brought these boys here. Rett has a body score of 2.5/9 and is very untrusting and scared of people! Poor soul!

This handsome boy was said to be a draft - until we laid eyes on him ;-) He is a Palomino QH, but we weren't going to leave him behind. He is an owner surrender with an old foot injury and some laminitis in both fronts. We hope to be able to help him stay comfortable for years to come!
