THOSE THAT WILL BE WITH US ALWAYS...

GOLIATH.jpeg

GOLIATH

Mini gelding, 32 inches

8 years

Goliath came from a local Montana

auction where dozens of mini horses were

auctioned off so we decided to help one

get out of the auction pipeline.

He joined a local family for their grandkids,

but after a while they contacted us to take him back.

We gladly did and made GOLIATH our mini-ambassador who joins one of our big guys during senior home visits and the elderly love it! Goliath is here to stay!

DALE

Clydesdale gelding
17hh+

Age: mid teens

1700sh pounds

Dale came to us from a local Montana

auction. He was owned by a dealer who sold

him because he was "too much horse" for him.

He has been here since May of 2021 and is still

very skittish and scared of humans and human touch. We have decided to keep him here at the rescue based on his own wish, as per our animal communicator.

SMITH & WESSON

Belgian geldings
17hh

Age: early/mid twenties

1700sh pounds

This team came to us from a Texas auction.

They are pretty much untouchable unless you

run them through a chute. Very leary of people,

which is so sad. We have no history on them, but they are here

to live out their lives.

ANDY

Belgian gelding
17.1 hh

Age: approx. early twenties

1850 pounds

Andy came from the Grant Kohrs Ranch

in Deer Lodge, Montana, where he was

worked on farm equipment.

They retired him with us and now Andy is our Gentle Giant embassador who joins us at various events throughout the year,

including senior home visits. He is a big love-bug, but he also

is a "leaner" presenting neurologial signs in the hind end.

HONEY

Belgian mare

17hh

Age: late teens/early twenties

1700sh pounds

Honey came to us in January of 2021, and

was owned by a horse trader.
She is completely blind and is extremely

people shy, scared to death of human touch. She is here to live

out her life with her pasture mates, all of whom she gets along

with nicely. She especially likes our mini, Goliath.
