Missoula/MT Auction Nov 13, 2018

SAVES from the Missoula Auction

2 Fjord geldings, Bjorn and Lucas, 20 and 25 years old.

By networking with the Fjord Rescue Network, they were able to find an interested party, who then asked me to bid on their behalf and I was able to secure the pair for her for a total of $1800. They will now go into a Therapeutic Riding program and 1 Horse At A Time was happy to assist! Thank you Cindy!

Doc Skid, 16 year old AQHA gelding with 1 blind eye

Was in risk of going to the kill buyer when kill buyer outbid private party at $600 and the rescue stepped in and secured his safety for $620. By networking with the Bella Dea Rescue Foundation. Thank you guys, great work! Bella Dea Rescue Foundation paid $300 towards saving Doc Skid and his new owner Christine sent $400 towards his purchase. Thank you both for making this possible!

Goliath, 14 year old, said to be half draft

While Goliath was ridden through and presented as the "has been there, done that" type of horse, he looked in dire need of groceries and TLC. Knowing that there are quite a few of our followers looking for half drafts, 1 Horse At A Time assured his safety by purchasing Goliath for $1200 and vowed to take him home, get him to health and find him a forever loving home!

Today's donations: $584.51, $200 of which refunded to Joanne for the pony that went to a private home, so $384.51 which will go towards Goliath.
